About us

Many Coloradans with physical and cognitive constraints are entitled to care at home. But administrative and economic barriers are preventing vulnerable patients from receiving home care, resulting in costlier care in institutionalized settings, away from friends and family.

We advocate on behalf of the providers of home health care and personal care — vital services that help vulnerable Coloradans of all ages. From infants to the elderly, people receive home health and personal care services for a wide range of situations and needs. This may include following an accident or a medical procedure, or because of an impairment, disability or chronic illness.

As a non-profit, non-partisan association, the Home Care and Hospice Association of Colorado provides leadership and information to elevate the profession of home care and hospice for the benefit of the consumers they serve. Home health, home care and hospice agencies statewide care for tens of thousands of Coloradans in all 64 counties, including the elderly, and people with physical and cognitive impairments.
